The De Havilland 86B is one of the most successful air liners ever built and has a record of service both within this country and on Empire routes. Ten to sixteen passengers are accommodated, according to the route operated and four Gipsy Six engines of 200 h.p. give the machine a cruising speed of over 140 m.p.h. Large windows, a cabin heater and separate ventilators to each seat make for a high standard of passenger comfort.
