The Tiger Moth is a light training aircraft by De Havilland, seating two in the tandem position, based on the famous and familiar Moth of earlier days. It is available in Land-plane or seaplane form. The widely used Gipsy Major engine is the power unit, supplied with fuel from the 19-gallon tank seen in the centre of the upper wing. These machines combine great stability in the air with a maximum speed of over 100 m.p.h.
