Armstrong Whitworth Ensign

Messrs. Armstrong Whitworth have recently delivered to Imperial Airways a series of Ensign aircraft for European and Empire services. The former type has four cabins accommodating forty passengers and the latter three accommodating twenty-seven by day or twenty by night in sleeping berths. Cruising speed is about 170 m.p.h. and the range is about 800 miles. The luxury, silence and safety of these machines well maintains the high reputation of Imperial Airways.
