Luton Major

Messrs. Luton Aircraft Ltd. have a record of successful production of sail-planes and super-light aircraft, and the Major shown here is their biggest product as yet. Like the Luton Minor it is a high-wing braced monoplane, but has a cabin seating two and is powered by a 60 h.p. Walter "Mikron" engine. The estimated maximum speed of this plane is 100 m.p.h. a good figure for a two-seater plane of low power, and has the safe landing speed of 30 m.p.h.
