and other members of the municipality. In Uniform, members of the
St. Helier paid police. Note the banner with Mayor for 21 years
inscribed, the title does not or ever has existed in Jersey Law, using the
title Mayor was an affectation of certain Constables of Saint Helier during
the latter half of the 19th century. |
